Chevrolet’s best-selling car, the Camaro ZL1, is the first in a new line of supercharged supercars to be powered by the company’s new turbocharged inline-six.
The ZL3 has an estimated 0-60mph time of 3.9 seconds, and the ZL5 will have a time of 5.3 seconds.
The Camaro SS has a 0-62mph time in the low- to mid-teens and the Camaros SRT and ZL6 have an estimated time of 4.7 seconds.
Chevrolet also has the Chevrolet Camaro GT, which is a 6.4-liter V-8 engine that powers the Corvette Z06 and Corvette ZR1.
Chevrolet says that the ZSL1, which will be priced at $19,995, will have an all-wheel drive system that will provide more ground clearance, greater agility and more grip.
The company is also introducing a new SRT supercharged crossover, which should also get a 6-speed automatic transmission.
